Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition

Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition had a hugely successful run at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) that saw 126,480 people step back in time to explore the mysteries of the famed boy-king of Ancient Egypt.

Among the visitors, 1123 pupils took part in educational visits during the exhibition’s three month run, discovering history through cutting-edge technology, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences. Visitor feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with the event garnering an overall satisfaction score of 91%.

Visitors travelled from across Scotland and an impressive 76 countries worldwide, reinforcing the SEC’s reputation as one of Glasgow’s leading cultural and tourism attractions.

The exhibition – which combined 360-degree projection, holograms, and virtual reality – has now welcomed over two million visitors worldwide. In Glasgow, it captivated audiences of all ages and highlighted the city’s growing strength as a destination for, immersive culture and events.
