Morag was appointed SEC Chair in 2024, prior to her appointment, she served as Senior Non Executive. She joined the SEC board of directors in 2014.

Morag McNeill is a qualified solicitor. She was a partner with McGrigors – now Pinsent Masons LLP – for 14 years specialising in corporate finance before becoming General Counsel at Forth Ports plc from 2005 to 2012.

She holds several non-executive positions including Chair of Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd and Chair of The Robertson Trust. She is also a trustee of the Lawscot Foundation.

She was previously Chair of Court at Heriot-Watt University and Vice Chair of Aberdeen Harbour Board and Social Investment Scotland.

In her spare time Morag sings enthusiastically in the Edinburgh Academy Choral Society and Heriot-Watt University Choir and is a Francophone. She can be found on the touch line on Saturday afternoons watching her son play rugby.

Dominic joined the SEC in May 2025 after serving as Executive Chairman since 2021 with European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), the tournament organiser of the Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, where he will continue in his role as Independent Non-Executive Chairman.

Dominic was also a strategic advisor to the UCI World Cycling Championships 2023, CEO at Celtic Football Club and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Scottish Rugby Union for 13 years, leading the development of the organisation into a modern, consumer-focused sporting and entertainment business delivering world-class major sporting events. He also attracted major live entertainment promoters and performers and oversaw a doubling of Scottish Rugby’s commercial revenues and regularly ensured major events and international sporting fixtures took place in front of sell-out crowds at Murrayfield National Stadium.

He has also served as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the PRO14, now the United Rugby Championship, and a board member of Rugby Europe and various international rugby organisations.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dominic chaired Scottish Rugby’s COVID-19 Response Group. He supported cross-sector industry groups, including the Scottish Government Event Industry Advisory Group (EIAG), which provided representation for the events sector in the national response and recovery planning effort required to address the devastating impact of the pandemic on the sector in Scotland. Dominic was instrumental in bringing back the live events industry, with Murrayfield Stadium being the first large-scale venue to open in the U.K.

Dominic went to the University of Glasgow and is a keen offshore sailor, previously chairing the Ocean Youth Trust (Scotland) board of directors.

Vivien Currie was appointed to the SEC board of directors in March 2024, and now also chairs the Audit & Risk Committee and is a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Vivien Currie holds, and has held, a number of Non Executive Director positions over many years.  She was awarded an MBE in the Queen's 2020 New Year's Honours. 

Vivien’s executive career saw her predominantly in the horse racing industry where she was also a Non-Executive Director of the British Horseracing Authority, the sport’s peak governing body, also sitting on the Audit & Risk Committee. Prior to that she was Vice Chairman of the Racecourse Association which represents the interests of the 59 racecourses in Great Britain, where she also Chaired the Nomination Committee, and served on both the Remuneration and Audit Committees.

In addition to this, Vivien was a member of Marie Curie’s Development Board raising funds for and promoting the Glasgow Hospice.

Vivien is currently a Non Executive Director of Scottish Golf and Chairs the Commercial Committee of this sports authority. She is also a Director of The Merchants House of Glasgow, the oldest social enterprise in the city, which provides benefits and grants to relieve poverty, and an adviser to the Board of The Royal Stables in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, a historic equestrian centre in the heart of the city.

Prior to Vivien building her portfolio of Non Executive positions, she was Chief Executive of Ascot Racecourse and of Hamilton Park Racecourse Group, diversifying it into an all-year-round award-winning resort, conceptualising and building a Hampton by Hilton hotel in the racecourse grounds.

Previously, Vivien was part owner and Chief Executive of Livingston Football Club, taking it out of Administration. She also sat on the Scottish Football League Management Committee being the first female in its over 100-year existence.

Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with EY, Vivien worked in London, Australia and Glasgow then joined the global telecoms business Damovo as Director of Strategy before becoming head of Global Sales & Solutions.

Jonathan Kemp was appointed to the SEC board of directors in March 2024 and now also chairs the Remuneration Committee.

Jonathan was the Commercial Director of AG Barr plc for over 20 years, a role which saw him lead the brand and commercial development of the business with responsibility for iconic brands such as IRN-BRU, Rubicon, Boost and Funkin.

After initially working as a researcher at the House of Commons - Jonathan studied Economics at Liverpool University before joining the global FMCG business Procter & Gamble where he spent 12 years in a variety of customer, consumer and commercial roles.

He then joined the board of AG Barr back in 2003 and alongside his other director responsibilities describes 20 years of marketing IRN-BRU as the "best job in Scotland".  

Having 'retired' from this Executive role in 2024, in addition to his responsibilities at the SEC Jonathan is now a Non-Executive Director of both Radnor Hills Ltd and the UK Deposit Management Organisation - an industry backed business which will transform the sustainability of the beverage industry by launching a deposit return scheme into the UK. 

Jonathan is also closely associated with the University of Strathclyde where he carries out behavioural economics research and teaches 'brand building' to final year Marketing students.

George Gillespie is Executive Director of Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for Glasgow City Council with responsibility for  Roads & Transportation, Planning and Development, Building Standards, Housing and Regeneration, Project Management and Design, Corporate Asset Management, Waste Management and Disposal, Parks and Open Space, Environmental Health, Trading Standards, Scientific Services (Glasgow Scientific Services), Bereavement Services, Community Safety, Events and Transport Services.

He is a Chartered Civil Engineer with extensive experience within roads and transportation together with the delivery of wide-ranging frontline services and the successful management of major projects. He has held a number of senior positions within the former Strathclyde Regional Council, and with Glasgow City Council as Head of Roads, Head of Service Delivery and Assistant Director prior to his most recent, current appointment in March 2018.

Duncan was recently appointed as Chief Officer Finance & Resources at the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership.

Duncan Black was Head of Audit & Inspection for Glasgow City Council from 2015 to 2025.

After training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG LLP in their external audit practice, he joined Glasgow City Council in 2008. As Chief Accountant he had responsibility for the annual budget and annual accounts preparation. In 2015 he was appointed Head of Audit and Inspection with overall responsibility for the Internal Audit, Corporate Fraud, and Executive Compliance sections across the Council Group. 

This includes the Council’s Arms Length External Organisations,  the Glasgow City Region Cabinet, Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership, and the Strathclyde Pension Fund. 

Through our Audit Glasgow initiative, he is also the appointed Chief Internal Auditor for the Shetland Islands Council Group, the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park Authority, and Scottish Canals.

In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors with family, including walking, mountain biking and golf.  He also enjoys listening to music and plays the piano and cello.

Colin is Glasgow City Council’s Director of Communication and Corporate Governance. His role encompasses communication, HR, community empowerment, and financial inclusion and transformation. Before joining GCC in 2006 Colin worked in communication for BAE Systems and the Labour Party as well as working as a radio and TV producer at BBC Scotland.

In his spare time he reads, bakes, rides various types of bikes, follows his children around the house switching off lights and volunteers at bike races.

Graham is Head of Investment, International & Innovation at Glasgow City Council with responsibility for Invest Glasgow, the Innovation Economy, Green Economy, Digital Economy, Film Office and the Council’s Community Grant programme. He works closely with both UK and Scottish government, as well as a range of stakeholders across the public, private and academic sectors to deliver on the city’s economic ambitions. His previous roles in the Council include leading on the city’s business support activity where he developed the current business support framework to help grow Glasgow’s SME base.

Prior to joining the Council in 2014, Graham worked in Lifelong Learning at the University of Strathclyde where he managed a number of European-funded programmes, working with the European Commission and a range of organisations across Europe. He also completed his MBA at Strathclyde Business School in 2008.

Graham has previously held non-executive positions with Hub West, Business Loans Scotland, West of Scotland Loan Fund and Cardonald College.

Debbie McWilliams was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2025.

She was Director of Live Entertainment from March 2019, assuming responsibility for the overall management, commercial delivery, event booking and content creation of Scotland’s biggest entertainment complex which includes the OVO Hydro. She was then appointed as Interim Managing Director, Strategy & People in July 2024.

She began her career in 1989 as Assistant to the Operations Director at the SEC and played a key role in establishing the venue ticketing operation. Through the years she played an integral role in the team who delivered two iconic buildings to Glasgow in the SEC Armadillo in 1997 and the OVO Hydro in 2013. She has been instrumental in the growth and success of the live entertainment sector of our business due to her extensive knowledge, experience and proven track record across all aspects of live entertainment.

She is a Committee member for Scottish Music Awards in support of Nordoff & Robbins Scotland. She was also a board member of Women of Influence in support of Action for Children Scotland.

In 2017 Debbie joined the National Arenas Association (NAA) Steering Group and was appointed Chair of the NAA Sales & Marketing Group in 2019. She represents Scotland for LIVE (newly formed industry body), where she is also a member of the venues sub-group.

In 2021 Debbie was recognised by Pollstar and Venues Now in their ‘Impact International List’ and will be inducted into the roll of honour for Women in Music in 2023 having previously been awarded the Women in Music award in 2019 at the Scottish Music Awards.
